How the Swedish Literature course is structured

This lesson explains that, unlike the Complete Swedish series, this course does not need to be watched in sequence. Lessons draw from a mix of fiction, non-fiction and both famous and lesser-known Swedish authors, and suit learners who have finished the main course.

What the lesson covers

This course differs from the Complete Swedish series in that it is not designed to be watched in chronological order. You can choose which lessons to listen to. In the course, we read from a sample of Swedish literature, in no particular order. The selection varies between works of fiction / non-fiction, as well as works by famous Swedish authors and not-so-famous authors. The course is suitable for those who have alreadt finished the Complete Swedish series, although others can also try it.

How the lesson works in Lingolib

The video plays beside a transcript that follows it line by line. Swedish words are underlined; tap one and the video pauses, the meaning appears, and the word goes into your library. At the end there is a five-question quiz written from this exact lesson, and every word can be practised out loud.
