Okay, to say see in Swedish, like seeing something, you'd use the word se, att se. So it's spelled the same without the extra e. So, in order to change this, you would say ser. Jag ser, du ser, han ser, hon ser, den or det ser, ni ser, de ser, vi ser.

And if you want to say you're looking at something, you'd say jag ser på, and you use on.

Do you remember how to say a house?

Ett hus. How do you say I see?

Jag ser. Jag ser.

I see a house.

Jag ser ett hus.

So it's I see a house, I'm seeing a house.

I see my house.

Jag ser mitt hus.

What do you see?

Vad ser du?

So, how did you say everything?

Allting. Allting, literally every thing, allting.

I want to have everything. How would you say that? I want to have everything.

Jag vill ha allting. Jag vill ha allting. Or allt, jag vill ha allt.

Do you want to have everything?

Vill du ha allting? Or allt, vill du ha allt?

So, to say something in Swedish, you would say någonting.

Någonting. Some thing. And it can also be shortened so you could say något, if you prefer to say that. So, how do you say I want to have something using någonting?

Jag vill ha någonting.

And of course, the shorter version of that is något: Jag vill ha något. And that's perfectly fine.

I don't want to have something.

It's like saying I don't want to have anything. I don't want to have something.

Jag vill inte ha något. So it's literally, I don't want to have something. And that's the way of saying, I don't want to have anything. I don't want anything.

How do you say interesting?

Intressant. Intressant.

It is interesting.

Det är intressant.

It is interesting for me. To say for in Swedish, you would just add on two dots. So you'd say för, för. You would use ö. So, it is interesting for me, how do you say that?

Det är intressant för mig.

So do you remember how to say to buy in Swedish? To buy.

Att köpa, köpa. And it's spelt with a k, k and an ö, so it becomes kö-, köpa. I buy it for you.

Jag köper den för dig.

Jag köper den för dig, because att köpa becomes köper. I buy it for you: Jag köper den för dig.

I buy the food for you.

So the food was maten.

I buy the food for you. Jag köper maten för dig.

So we've talked about when you're doing something for someone. What about if you give something to someone?

Do you remember how to say to in Swedish?

till How do you say I give the food to you?

Jag ger maten till dig. Jag ger maten till dig. But you could also say, and perhaps more commonly so, I give you the food. How do you think you say that, I give you the food? Jag ger dig maten. Jag ger dig maten.

What about I give it to you?

Jag ger den till dig.

I give you it?

Jag ger dig den.

Jag ger dig den.

He gives me it?

Han ger mig den.

Can you give me it?

Kan du ge mig den?

Kan du ge mig den? So this is the shortened way of saying can you give it to me, so you don't need the to, the till. You can just say can you give me it, kan du ge mig den.

Can't you give me it?

Kan inte du ge mig den? And of course we said the placement of the inte was optional. You have two options, so what's the other option?

Kan du inte ge mig den? Kan du inte ge mig den?

What about why can't you give it to me? And to say why you would of course say varför.

Varför kan inte du ge mig den? Or varför kan du inte ge mig den?
